Egypt’s President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi directed Saturday intensifying Egyptian calls to contain situation and prevent further escalation between Palestinians and Israelis.
President Al-Sisi is following up the incidents from the strategic crisis management center in light of the development of situation in the Gaza Strip, said Egypt’s presidential spokesman Ahmad Fahmy.
The Palestinian territories are witnessing sudden developments when some Palestinian fighters broke into Israeli settlements based on the Gaza Strip compound and clashed with some Israeli soldiers while missiles were being fired towards the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948.
Israel’s media announced that some Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded, while Israeli occupation forces launched raids on the Strip.
