Discussing unifying efforts to confront the humanitarian crisis in the affected areas.

Representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, Chairman of the Supreme Council of State, Muhammad Takala, and Head of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbaiba, discussed today, Thursday, ways to unify efforts to confront the humanitarian crisis that Derna in particular and all the affected areas are going through.

The attendees stressed the need to overcome difficulties to ensure that relief aid reaches those affected by torrents and floods, noting the importance of intensifying coordinating efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people in the affected areas, according to the Government of National Unity on its official account.

Dbaiba stressed the need to provide relief to the people, and address the internal displacement crisis in order to restore life to Derna through development projects and revitalize the city, whose infrastructure was severely damaged as a result of torrents and floods.
