Tripoli: The Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Khamada, participated yesterday in the ceremony held by the Embassy of Malta in Tripoli on the occasion of its National Day.
Khamada congratulated the Maltese government and people on Independence Day, commending the historical relations between the two friendly countries and the distinguished level of bilateral cooperation relations in various areas since the Government of National Unity assumed its duties.
Khamada thanked the Maltese Embassy for the facilities it provides to Libyan citizens to obtain visas for work, study, or visits, expressing the aspirations of the Foreign Ministry to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation to broader horizons in a way that serves the common interest of both countries.
