Detection of 163,000 transgressors on the social protection network

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, announced the detection of 163,000 violators on the social protection network.

In a statement reported by the Ministry’s media, he said: We are continuing to check and boycott the data of beneficiary families to remove those who are not eligible for the amount of social assistance.

Al-Asadi added: The Ministry receives thousands of notifications regarding the presence of a large number of transgressors on the social protection network.

He continued: The Ministry started a campaign to intersect the data of beneficiaries with the various state institutions and with non-governmental institutions and the private sector to expel those who are not eligible.

Al-Asadi explained: The Ministry of Labor is continuing to take legal measures against the transgressors and fully recover the sums they owed. The law allowed the amount to be paid in installments over a period of ten years as a maximum, according to the size of the refunded amount.

He called on citizens to report the transgressors by calling its hotline (1018), indicating that whoever reports the suspension of his subsidy will not be legally prosecuted, and those who fail to do so will take legal action against them.
