Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a call Wednesday from Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Attiyah, in which he congratulated him on his new ministerial position.
In a press statement, the Army General Staff Presidency said that Sheikh Ahmad expressed his appreciation for this call, which reflects the depth of the deep-rooted historical relations between the State of Kuwait and the State of Qatar.
During the call, bilateral ties and latest global and regional developments were touched on.
