Amman: The Vice President of the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC), Nabil Khatib, and the Ambassador of Bangladesh, Nahida Subhan, Wednesday discussed cooperation to raise the level of trade exchange.
According to an ACC statement, Khatib discussed in Amman developing new horizons for economic relations at the level of private institutions, expanding trade exchanges and developing cooperation opportunities between business owners.
Khatib discussed supporting tourism cooperation opportunities between the two countries and the possibility of linking tourism and travel companies and gents to promote tourism, noting the “importance” of signing a memo between the ACC and its Bangladesh peers to enhance cooperation.
For her part, Subhan expressed appreciation for the ACC’s role and efforts to strengthen cooperation relations in the economic fields and trade and investment, stressing her country’s interest in strengthening ties with Jordan.
She noted the “wide” scope for enhancing tourism cooperation since Jordan
is home to “major” archaeological and sacred sites.
