Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, met at the Council of Ministers’ office with the Secretary-General of the African Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO), Omar Al-Farouk, in the presence of the Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun.
The meeting, which was held on Thursday, discussed developing joint cooperation between member states to benefit from technical expertise, which stresses the need to discuss and study the establishment of a gas pipeline from Nigeria to Europe passing through Niger and Libya.
The communication office of the PM stated that the visit of Al-Farouk is to participate in the 2024 Energy and Economy Summit, which Libya will host in January 13-14.
