Dbaiba instructs Briga Oil and Gas Company to send a fuel and gas convoy to the affected areas in southern Libya.

Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, issued his instructions today, Friday, to Briga Oil and Gas Marketing Company to take the necessary measures to send a convoy loaded with fuel and cooking gas to the areas affected by the floods in southern Libya.

Dbaiba directed his instructions to the company, after it became clear that there was a severe shortage in fuel and cooking gas supplies based on the report of the head of the Emergency Committee regarding the follow-up of the damages that befell the areas of Al-Awainat, Tahala, Al-Barak and Ghat as a result of rainfall, valley flows, floods and torrents.

According to the instructions of the Prime Minister, the company is requested to take the necessary measures to send a convoy loaded with fuel and cooking gas necessary for these affected areas urgently, to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of these circumstances and to inform him of the measures taken.

Dbaiba had directed the formation of an emerg
ency committee headed by the Minister of Local Government, Badr Al-Din Al-Toumi, to follow up on the conditions of the areas affected by the floods in Al-Awainat, Tahala, Al-Barakt and Ghat in southern Libya.
