The head of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, affirmed the harmony of Libya’s position with the ECOWAS organization and the African Union regarding the conditions that Niger is going through.
This came during his meeting this evening with the Nigerian Ambassador, Asyad Ag Kato, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein Al-Qatrani.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Niger gave an explanation of the nature of the situation that Niger is going through as a result of the political and military developments that the country is going through.
For his part, Al-Dabaiba assured the Nigerien ambassador that Libya’s position is clear regarding what is happening in Niger, stressing the need to maintain stability and not allow chaos, as this will have negative consequences for Niger and all neighboring countries.
