Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi received by Crown Prince of Bahrain in Manama on brotherly visit5th Egyptian-Qatari higher committee wraps up meeting

MANAMA: His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has arrived in Manama on a brotherly visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

H.H. was received warmly at the Sakhir Air Base Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King and President of the Supreme Council for Environment; His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Governor of the Southern Governorate; His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and Major General Staff Pilot Mohammad BaHussain Al Musallam, Commander of Sakhir Air Base.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa engaged in warm conversation, reflecting the close friendship between both countries, and the bond shared by the peopl
e of both nations.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi’s visit to Bahrain aims to strengthen collaboration in areas of mutual interest, deepen bilateral relations and fulfil the shared aspirations of the leadership and citizens of the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

H.H. Sheikh Khaled is accompanied by a delegation that includes Sheikh Mohamed bin Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Zayed bin Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan; Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan; Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain; and a number of senior officials.

The fifth higher committee of Egypt and Qatar wrapped up its session on Saturday 02/03/2024 in the Qatari capital of Doha.

The joint session was co-chaired by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.

During the inauguration of the meetings, Shoukry conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Shoukry said he is looking forward to rendering successful the committee session which comes at a critical timing requiring coordination and cooperation to serve interests of Arab people and enhancing the security and stability of the region.

The Qatari premier and foreign minister welcomed the committee meetings and its aspired role to enhance bilateral cooperation.

He stressed the interest of both sides in intensifying efforts to confront the challenges facing the region.

At the end of the committee session, ministers
of both sides signed a number of memorandums of understanding in different domains.
