The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, opened today, Saturday, the new building of the Muthanna Governorate Investment Commission.
Al-Sudani toured the corridors of the building, and was briefed on the details of the work. He also met a number of investors in the presence of Al-Muthanna Governor and the Chairman of the Investment Authority in it, and listened to their proposals and the obstacles that hinder their work and directed to follow up addressing them.
The Prime Minister affirmed the government’s seriousness in activating the investment sector and reaching a real partnership with the private sector, indicating that Iraq possesses various natural resources that enable it to achieve a leap in various sectors.
He referred to the government’s effort to remove problems and obstacles facing the investment sector, and to work to make it an attractive environment for internal and external investments, in a way that helps in developing the economy and contributes to enhancing the domestic product.
