Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva arrived in Cairo for a two-day visit to celebrate the centennial of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Brazil per President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s invitation.
On the sideline of his visit, President Lula da Silva visited on Thursday 15/2/2024 the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the City Municipality Centre, has organised the “Safe Beach – Your Safety Matters” initiative at Abu Dhabi Corniche Beach, in line with its commitment to ensuring a delightful and secure recreational beach experience.
Focusing on educating visitors about safety and security to ensure a delightful, secure recreational experience and boost public satisfaction.
Throughout the initiative, the Municipality’s teams diligently embodied the principle of “Your Safety Matters”, reflecting the Municipality’s dedication to creating a safe and sustainable environment for the community, enabling everyone to enjoy delightful moments on secure beaches.
The Municipality teams also focused on enhancing safety awareness by educating beachgoers about positive behaviours to adopt during their visits, as well as informing the public about emergency procedures to follow in necessary situations.
This initiative is part of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality’s commitment to achieving a
sustainable and advanced vision in the field of public service provision. It represents a pioneering step towards enhancing safety on beaches, within a vision that aims to create an effective balance between providing spaces for enjoyment and relaxation and ensuring the safety of all.
This is achieved through continuous cooperation between the relevant authorities and community members, contributing to an emirate distinguished by its civilised appearance and facilities, as well as safe and leading-edge infrastructure that enhances the quality-of-life standards.
