US President Joe Biden confirmed today, Tuesday, that comprehensive war in the Middle East is not in the interest of any party.
Biden said in a speech at the opening of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly: “The war in the Gaza Strip must end, and comprehensive war in the Middle East is not in the interest of any party,” indicating that “a diplomatic solution is the only way to end the conflict between Israel and Lebanon.”
He added, “We are working with Egypt and Qatar to reach an agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip.”
