Tripoli: The investigation authority at the Attorney General’s Office ordered the detention of the warehouse manager of Sabratha Municipality.
The Attorney General’s Office explained that the deputy prosecutor, who investigated the facts included in the reports examining the financial affairs of the municipality, revealed the reality of the warehouse manager’s abuse of the powers of the position entrusted to him, by deliberately embezzling three hundred spotlights that were supplied to the municipality’s warehouses, for the purpose of implementing the municipality’s road lighting project.
The office explained that the investigator ended up ordering the accused to be detained pending investigation.
