Arrest of an accused sentenced in absentia to death by hanging for a murder in Baghdad


The detachments of the Anti-Crime Directorate arrested an accused sentenced in absentia to death by hanging for a murder in Baghdad.

The Directorate stated in a statement that the detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate / Husseiniya Al-Maamel Office for Combating Crime, arrested an accused wanted for a murder and sentenced in absentia to death by hanging until death, where he was detained in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 and handed over to the requesting party to receive his just punishment.

On the other hand, the Directorate’s detachments arrested a number of suspects for stealing motorcycles and tik-toks, and others for stealing sums of money and residential homes, and wanted in various criminal cases, in addition to seizing three vehicles and arresting their owners for having a seizure notice on them in the database, where legal measures were taken against them and they were brought to justice to receive their just punishment.
