Arab social affairs ministers launched a humanitarian aid convoy to Sudan in the light of the armed conflict in the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, Assisstant Secretary General and Head of the Social Sector at Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh said the league is coordinating with the ministerial councils of member-countries to ease the suffering of the Sudanese people.
This is the second convoy of humanitarian aid the league is sending to Sudan in cooperation with Egypt, said Abu Ghazaleh, hoping the situation would go back to normal in the country in the nearest possible time.
