Tripoli: Acting Minister of Interior, Major General “Imad Al-Trabulsi”, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya “Kofen Bekic” and his accompanying delegation in Tripoli today, Monday, security cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, according to the Ministry of Interior, discussed prospects for joint security cooperation and enhancing communication between the two countries, in addition to discussing many topics related to security and stability in Libya.
Al-Trabulsi stressed during the meeting the importance of enhancing training and equipment programs for Libyan police personnel, praising the continued Turkish support in this field.
For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his country’s commitment to supporting Libya in its efforts to build its security institutions, stressing the importance of cooperation between the two countries in facing common challenges, according to the Ministry
