Al-Sudani stresses the need to adopt technical and professional standards in assigning officials responsible for service and functional joints in public institutions in Muthanna

Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed the need to adopt technical and professional standards in assigning officials responsible for service and functional joints in public institutions in Muthanna Governorate, and to stay away from quotas and political tendencies in choosing those who hold responsibilities, in addition to the importance of working in the spirit of one team, and setting the goal of serving the people of the governorate as a goal that must be implemented.

A statement by his media office said that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received, on Monday evening, the Governor of Muthanna, Mr. Muhannad Abdul Ali Al-Attabi, and the Chairman of the Muthanna Governorate Council, Ahmed Mohsen Al-Daryoul.

He explained that during the meeting, the service and economic affairs of the governorate were followed up, as Al-Sudani was briefed on a comprehensive presentation on the performance of service agencies in Muthanna, the status of projects that affect the lives of citizens, and
the observations of the governor and the head of the provincial council in this regard.

Al-Sudani directed the importance of accuracy and integrity in preparing the quantitative statements and tables related to service projects, and following the legal contexts and clarity in referring them to implementation. He also directed to address some of the obstacles and service requirements presented by the governor of Muthanna and the head of the provincial council.

The Prime Minister stressed, according to the statement, the necessity of auditing previous projects, revealing any case of corruption in them, and referring the related files to the legal authority responsible for combating corruption, in addition to the importance of full cooperation with the audit and technical committees that His Excellency directed to be formed, and to start their work in the governorate.
