The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, discussed yesterday with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kinan Yilmaz, the electoral entitlement in Libya.
The communication office of the HCS said that Al-Mishri congratulated Yilmaz on the occasion of Turkey’s “Democracy and National Unity” Day, which coincides with the seventh anniversary of the failure of the coup against democracy in Turkey in 2016.
The two sides discussed the council’s efforts to reach electoral entitlements in Libya and the attempts of some actors to obstruct this path.
Yilmaz commended the efforts of the HCS in achieving electoral laws, expressing his country’s support for the Libyan-Libyan solution path.
The two parts also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in the interests of the two brotherly people.
