The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, arrived yesterday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to participate in the work of the fifth session of the mid-year summit between the African Union, regional economic groups, and regional mechanisms, to be held today, Sunday.
Presidents of countries, governments of the AU, the Chairperson and Vice-President of the African Commission, and the Chairperson of the AU will participate in this summit, which will be held under the slogan “Accelerating the Implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area.”
Participants will discuss many issues, including peace and security, economic development, trade facilitation, infrastructure projects, climate change, health care, and education.
