The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, met with her Maltese counterpart, Ian Burg, and discussed strengthening cooperation between the two countries in areas of economy, investment, renewable energies, and dealing with the immigration file.
This came during a meeting between the two parties during Burg’s visit to Libya to discuss measures taken by the governments of the two countries to develop bilateral relations in various areas.
The ministry stated on its Facebook page today that the meeting also discussed the developments in the local situation in Libya and the international efforts to enhance security and stability to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.
