Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, confirmed that the Council will exercise our supervisory role and follow up on the disbursement of budget amounts according to the specified schedules and will not allow the loss or waste of people’s money.
Al-Mandlawi confirmed in a statement that the Presidency has made great efforts with the Parliamentary Finance Committee to expedite its completion and vote on it during the current legislative session, due to its importance in terms of its direct connection to citizens’ lives, and its close connection to strategic, investment and service projects.
He said that the House of Representatives will continue to exercise its oversight role to follow up on the disbursement of financial amounts according to the specified schedules, and will not allow the loss or waste of the people’s money, expressing its support for the government to continue implementing its reform and service program, and to complete the process of construction and progress a
nd achieve what the honorable citizens aspire to.
The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives appreciated the great role of the presidency and members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee in discussing and completing the schedules of the federal general budget for the year 2024, expressing his thanks to the members of the House of Representatives for their valuable proposals and their keenness to attend and vote on the budget schedules.
