Baghdad: Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, congratulated the Arab and Islamic nations in general, and the honorable Iraqi people in particular, and humanity as a whole, on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir al-Aghar, wishing that God would return it to everyone with steadfastness in the guardianship of the Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), and with security and stability for Iraq.
Al-Mandlawi stressed in a statement today, Monday, that the legislative authority was keen during the previous legislative session to approve the official holidays law, including the Day of Ghadir, due to the great status of this occasion among the Muslim Iraqi people, and what the position of the Commander of the Faithful represents in the history of the Islamic nation and humanity, expressing his hope that this holiday will contribute to more harmony, tolerance, and unity among Muslims.
