Al-Mandalawi: The World Has No Right To Remain Silent Any Longer About Remembering The Faili Kurds Who Were Absent

First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, affirmed that: “The world has no right to remain silent any more about recalling the Faili Kurds who disappeared.”

Al-Mandalawi said in a tweet: “On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearance, the world has no right to remain silent any more about remembering the disappeared Faili Kurds, whose ordeal engraved in human memory a deep wound that does not heal, and even if decades have passed since their absence, it was covered with the grief of their families.”

He added: “We promise our people from the Faili Kurds that we will spare no effort, legislative or political, or even internationally, from our parliamentary position to immortalize those whose souls look to the people of Iraq and their good land.”

He continued: “Mercy and eternity belong to them and to the departed Iraq and humanity forever.”/End
