The head of the Agency for Combating Illegal Immigration, Colonel “Muhammad Al-Khawja”, issued instructions to intensify the work of security patrols on the borders with Sudan and to support the security stationing at the Al-Awainat land port to maintain security on the Libyan-Sudanese border.
The agency confirmed in a statement on its Facebook page that the instructions of the head of the authorities came in view of the current events in Sudan and the developments it is going through that may negatively affect the borders and be exploited by criminals and smugglers.
