The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Seddiq Al-Kabeer, received yesterday the outcomes of the assigned team’s work in coordination with international banks after the team finished its meetings with a number of banks.
The communication office of the bank stated that the team’s briefing included developments in the international financial markets, and frameworks for collaboration and coordination in areas such as compliance, combating money laundering, and combating terrorist financing, indicating that the meetings included JP Morgan, Citibank, the Bank of New York, Clear Stream, and Euroclear Bank.
The communication office added that these meetings come within the framework of joint cooperation in various investment areas between the CBL and international banks.
