Al-Dabaiba confirms in an interview with Nova Agency that the phenomenon of migration exceeds Libya’s capabilities.

The head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, confirmed today, Thursday, that the phenomenon of illegal immigration flows from Africa to Europe exceeds Libya’s capabilities.

Al-Dabaiba said, in an interview with the Italian Nova News Agency. During his visit to Rome, “Libya suffers first and foremost from illegal immigration, and what happened in the past ten years created fragility in managing large migration movements from the south.”

Dabaiba pointed out that “combating immigration for Libya is a national issue before it is an international issue. Illegal immigrants have caused many other security problems in Libyan society and the country, such as drug smuggling and oil smuggling.”
