Tripoli: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Al-Taher Al-Baour, discussed with Chairperson of the African Union (AU), Moussa Faki, the AU’s role in advancing the efforts of national reconciliation in Libya.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of Al-Baour’s participation in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, they discussed several issues of interest to the AU’s states and how to unify efforts and African solidarity.
A-Baour stressed the support of the Government of National Unity for peace and reconciliation paths and facilitated it by working with the Presidential Council and other relevant parties.
