National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji received, in his office today, the Egyptian Ambassador to Baghdad, Walid Muhammad Ismail, on the occasion of the end of his duties as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq.
Al-Araji reviewed, according to a statement by the Chancellery, the fraternal relations between Iraq and Egypt and ways to strengthen them through joint and constructive cooperation at all levels.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed developments in the political and security situation, internationally and regionally, especially the situation in the Palestinian territories.
Al-Araji appreciated the role of the Egyptian ambassador during his work in Baghdad, wishing him success in his new tasks.
