Today, Sunday, National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji discussed with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Baghdad the strengthening of relations and cooperation in files and issues of common interest between the two countries.
His office stated in a statement, ‘Al-Araji discussed, during his meeting with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Baghdad, Peter Štepanek, on the occasion of the end of his tenure, the strengthening of relations between the two countries, especially the continuation of cooperation in files and issues of common interest, including Al-Hawl camp file and the importance of the countries to remove its citizens from the camp and close it completely, as it poses a threat to the security and stability of the region.
Al-Araji renewed, ‘The Iraqi government’s keenness to develop its relations with friendly countries, in a way that serves common interests and enhances the security and stability of the region and the world.’
