The head of Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, congratulated the Iraqi press family on the occasion of the 154th anniversary of its National Day.
In his congratulations, Al-Amiri said: “We extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Iraqi journalistic family, on the 154th anniversary of the issuance of Al-Zawraa newspaper, as the first newspaper in the history of Iraq.”
He called on the government to pay attention to media institutions and media professionals, and to assist them in performing their important duties as a fourth authority and supportive of the three authorities.
