Air Force aircraft targeted a terrorist hideout in the Hamrin Mountains today, Friday.
A statement said, “The painful strikes on the terrorist hideouts continue to exact just retribution from them, indicating that through field follow-up and intensification of intelligence efforts and as a result of precise professional work and technical follow-up that lasted for several days and in accordance with the offensive approach to pursue the remaining failed ISIS detachments, and with high-level coordination between the Counter-Terrorism Service and the Targeting Cell of the Joint Operations Command, the brave heroes of the Air Falcons carried out at 5:00 this Friday an accurate and destructive air strike against a terrorist detachment in the Hamrin Mountains on the borders separating the Kirkuk and Salahuddin Operations Commands.”
