The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, inaugurated today the Aden General Hospital and the Cardiology Center in the presence of the Supervisor General of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY), Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber.
The facility, which will provide free services, is part of the efforts to improve the medical sector and the quality of services in Aden Governorate and surrounding regions. The 270-bed hospital, built over 2,000 square meters, consists of 14 clinics and has been equipped with 2187 medical devices.
SDRPY has so far implemented 229 development projects and initiatives in various Yemeni governorates, serving the Yemenis in seven main sectors, namely education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, and capacity building of government institutions, in addition to development programs.
