After the end of the voting process and the closing of the ballot boxes, Turkish media reported that the participation rate in the Turkish elections approached 89 percent, which is an unofficial number.
Head of the Turkish Supreme Electoral Commission, Ahmed Yanar, had announced, after the end of the voting processes in the presidential and parliamentary elections throughout the country, and without any problems coming to them, that the processes of counting the votes of the voters throughout the country had begun.
Ahmed Yanar said in a press statement that two of the voters and another of the ballot box observers lost their lives as a result of a heart attack, during the continuation of the voting process.
