Abu Janah discusses with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross mission in Libya support for health sector projects.


Tripoli: Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Health “Ramadan Abu Janah” discussed today, Monday, with the head of the mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Libya “Ian Freddy” support for health sector projects.

The media office of the ministry stated that the meeting was held at the Ministry of Health and discussed the tasks assigned to the committee, the activities of its branches, and support for projects throughout the country.

At the beginning of the meeting, “Abu Janah” expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Derna to provide health support, and its efforts to provide medical services to the displaced from the State of Sudan.

He stressed that the ministry expresses its readiness to exchange health cooperation with the committee in accordance with Libyan laws and legislation.

For his part, the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross praised the efforts of the Minister of H
ealth and the Government of National Unity and their continuous cooperation to develop the health sector, and Libya’s support for many international forums, which are considered major supportive countries in all international crises.
