A young man drowned in the Tigris River south of Mosul


The river police of Nineveh Police announced today, Monday, the drowning of a young man in his twenties in the Tigris River south of Mosul.

A source in the river police told the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA / that “the young man was born in 2005 and is a resident of the village of Hajj Ali affiliated with the Qayyarah district and drowned while swimming in the Tigris River and his body was found by the river police in the Qayyarah district south of Mosul.”

He added that “the body was handed over to the forensic medicine in Mosul”
