Baquba -Military units began a security operation to track down ISIS cells northeast of Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate.
A military source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency that units of the army began a security operation northeast of Baqubah to comb 7 agricultural villages and two axes.
He added that the operation comes within the strategy of securing the countryside and villages located in the vicinity of the Hamrin Hills to secure them and prevent any activity of terrorist cells within the framework of enhancing stability in areas that have suffered for years from ISIS terrorist attacks.
