The security forces in Maysan arrested a suspect wanted for drug crimes in Qalaat Saleh district, south of the governorate.
Maysan Operations Command said in a statement: “A force from the third regiment of the ninety-seventh infantry brigade affiliated to the Maysan Operations Command, in conjunction with a detachment from the Narcotics Division of Qalaat Saleh district, arrested a wanted suspect according to Article (28 drugs), and confiscated a number of weapons in Al-Majar Al-Kabeer and Qalaat Saleh district,” referring to the delivery of the accused and the seized items to the competent authorities.
