A gang specialized in stealing tik-tok bikes arrested in front of a hospital east of Baghdad

Detachments of the Baghdad Crime Control Directorate arrested a gang specialized in stealing tik-tok bikes in front of a hospital, east of Baghdad.

The Directorate stated in a statement today: that the detachments of the Baghdad Crime Control Directorate arrested a gang consisting of three suspects for carrying out several thefts of motorcycles and tik-tok bikes in front of (Martyr Al-Sadr General Hospital).

He explained that the operation came after the availability of information from the detachments of the Office of Combating Crime in Habibiya about the presence of people who take advantage of the presence of urgent emergency cases for patients and their families who own bicycles and steal them in a few minutes in coordination with one of its members specialized in changing their papers, features and descriptions and selling them to citizens as being fundamentalist, where a work team was formed to follow up the matter and after investigating, collecting information, and setting up ambushes for that gang, efforts resulted in arresting the perpetrators within a few days of continuous search.

He added that their statements were recorded in the first instance and judicially approved by expressly confessing (eight thefts within the sector), and the investigating judge decided to arrest them in accordance with the provisions of Article 446 of the Penal Code so that they receive their just punishment./ End
