The Samarra Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Salah al-Din Intelligence and Anti-Terrorism Directorate, arrested a gang red-handed.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: “With high-level technical and field coordination between the Salah al-Din Intelligence and Anti-Terrorism Directorate and the Samarra Police Directorate, the detachments of the Samarra Crime Control Office were able, after careful follow-up, to arrest red-handed people who blackmail and bargain with citizens under the pretext of having lawsuits and arrest warrants against them in exchange for sums of money.”
He added: “Their statements were recorded in confession and they were referred to the judiciary to receive their just punishment according to the law.
