The Civil Defense in Babylon announced on Monday that it had extinguished a large fire that had devoured agricultural land in Al-Mahawil district, north of Hilla, without any casualties.
Director of Civil Defense Media, Aqeel Abdullah, said, “Today, Monday, civil defense teams were able to extinguish a large fire that devoured agricultural lands and orchards in Al-Mahawil district, north of Hilla, without injuries, indicating that the teams prevented the fire from spreading to citizens’ homes and property, and that the police opened an investigation to find out the causes of the fire.” .
