A Delegation From The KDP Arrives In Baghdad To Discuss This Matter

A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) arrived in Baghdad, today, Monday, headed by the official of the working body in the political bureau of the party, Fadel Mirani.

According to Rudaw Kurdish media network, the delegation includes, in addition to its head, Fadel Mirani, Hoshyar Zebari, Pashtiwan Sadiq, Nawzad Hadi, Fuad Hussein and Jaafar Emanki.

The delegation is scheduled to meet this evening, Monday, with the coordination framework to discuss the terms of the agreement to form the federal government, and then with the head of Taqaddam coalition, Muhammad al-Halbousi.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party says that the agreement that was concluded between these parties and on the basis of which the federal government was formed was not implemented as it is.

Yesterday, Sunday, the MP of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the House of Representatives, Shwan Muhammad, stated that the aforementioned agreement provided for specific time periods for issuing a number of laws, and that these laws have not been issued yet.

He pointed out that the oil and gas law should have been issued within six months of the date on which the government of Muhammad al-Sudani assumed its duties, but despite the passage of nine months, there are still many points of disagreement on it, just as the Federal Ministry of Finance has not yet issued instructions for implementing the general budget law.
