A 5-magnitude earthquake hits southern Iran

An earthquake measuring 5.0 degrees was recorded this morning, Wednesday, in southern Iran, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

According to the data of the “European-Mediterranean”, the epicenter of the earthquakes is located at a depth of 10 km, 91 km northwest of the city of Bandar Abbas, which has a population of about 352 thousand people.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
