(599) displaced persons who were residing in Harsham camp in Erbil returned to their original areas of residence in Nineveh and Salah al-Din

Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro announced the return of (599) displaced persons who were residing in Harsham camp in Erbil to their original areas of residence in Nineveh and Salah al-Din governorates.

Jabro said in a statement: “The areas (Al-Baaj, Al-Karama, Al-Hamdaniya, Tarjla village, Bashiqa, Bartella, Al-Salam neighborhood, Mosul, Rajm Hadid, Al-Zahraa neighborhood, Tal al-Ruman, Al-Nour neighborhood, Al-Tanak neighborhood, Sinjar district, Barbaroush neighborhood in Nineveh governorate and Balad district in Salah al-Din governorate) witnessed the return of displaced families who were residing in Harsham camp in Erbil governorate, in cooperation with the regional authorities.”

Jabro pointed out, “The desire of displaced families in the Kurdistan camps to return to their original areas of residence voluntarily continues, directing the ministry’s cadres to include those who have recently returned from the camps with financial grants, relief aid, and durable goods.”
