JAKARTA: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted the Indonesian island of Java at 22:18:14 UTC on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The quake was at a depth of 42.4 km.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the tremor.
