Energy Police detachments arrested two suspects of smuggling oil and its derivatives in Nineveh Governorate.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated: “A detachment from the Shahid Sabhan Oil Police in Nineveh Governorate arrested two suspects and seized their two vehicles, a type (tank), with several violations.”
He added: “The two vehicles were seized in preparation for completing the investigative procedures and presenting them to the competent judiciary in accordance with Law No. 41 of 2008 on combating smuggling of oil and its derivatives.”
