Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein announced, in a phone call to his Iranian counterpart, Amir Abdullahian, that the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, will visit Iran soon.
According to an official statement by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed several issues during the call, including bilateral relations, Iranian relations with the European Union, developments in the region, and the importance of maintaining security and stability in the region and combating terrorism.
Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein expressed his satisfaction with the resumption of relations between Tehran and Riyadh, and also revealed an imminent visit by President Abdul Latif Rashid to Iran.
