The Minister of Interior arrives at the Arar border crossing to supervise the deportation of pilgrims to the Holy Land / Expanded

The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived this morning, Friday, at the Arar border crossing, at the head of a government delegation that included “the head of the Hajj and Umrah Authority, Deputy Commander of joint operations, head of the border crossings Authority, Director of civil status and passports, and Commander of the ground forces.”

The visit aims to see the field implementation of the plan to secure the convoys of pilgrims heading to the Holy Land by land through the Arar border crossing, and to follow up the services provided to them from their point of departure to their departure from the homeland.

The government delegation also visited the controlling headquarters in Al-Nukhaib, which includes all security and service agencies, and which oversees the protection of pilgrims’ convoys, where the Commander of the controlling headquarters gave a briefing on the implementation of the plan to protect land and service to convoys heading to the Holy Land.

It is noteworthy that additional units of the Special Forces, the Federal Police and the Popular Mobilization Forces arrived in the sector to enhance the security situation and participate in securing the Karbala, Al-Nukhaib-Arar road, 24 hours a day.
