The new Kuwaiti government, headed by Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, was sworn in before the Emir of Kuwait.
During the constitutional swearing-in ceremony, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said: ‘We continue to follow the paths of reform that we have accepted and to consolidate the principles of justice, transparency, and frankness that we have pursued.’
Last Sunday, the Emir of Kuwait issued an Emiri decree forming the new Ministry headed by Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, which includes 13 ministers.
