The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced today, Tuesday, the overthrow of defendants who hold foreign nationality and practiced fraud and “hypnosis” on citizens in Baghdad.
The Agency said in a statement, “In implementation of the directives of the Minister of the Interior and under the direct supervision of the Undersecretary for Intelligence and Federal Investigations, which includes pursuing organized crime gangs, the Intelligence Agency’s units responsible for combating terrorism within the Baghdad Al-Rusafa Governorate received information that included persons with foreign nationality engaging in acts of fraud and deception against citizens by using what is called hypnosis.”
It added in its statement, “Immediately, an intelligence and technical work team was formed to collect information and investigate, and within hours, and with a precise ambush, the foreign defendants were arrested after a chase within Baghdad Governorate, inside the alleys of the Zayouna area.”
